We try to rent Banks Cottage out for as little as possible while still being able to - just about - cover the running costs. Unfortunately, in early 2025 council tax has literally doubled for holiday lets in the Lakes, so we’ve had to increase rents. It’s still about half the price of equivalent properties, though, and we don’t believe in charging extra during school holidays.
£550 a week
£140 for one night
£130 a night for two nights
£120 a night for three or more nights
If you go for two weeks, there’s a 10% discount.
We don’t have a cleaner, so please give the cottage a good clean when you leave. However, if you would prefer to have the cottage cleaned after you go, please contact Margaret Birkett on 015394 37512 who will organise cleaning for you.
